Ernie Robertson

Ernie Robertson

Ernie was born in Alice, Texas. His father worked in the oil fields back in those days, so the family moved a lot. After graduation from high school, Ernie joined the U.S. Air Force, serving as a Heavy Ground Radar technician. He has lived in many different sections of the country and has traveled internationally on business. Ernie is very active in community projects: a Past District Governor of Lions Clubs International, has served on the board of Directors of several foundations, helped found the Eye Care for Kids Foundation, and has served on the board of Gulf Coast Film & Video Festival.

The Old West has always been connected to Ernie Robertson. His great grandfather rode with the Pony Express. He would tell of tales of being chased by Indians, and of his daring escapades.

Ernie got his first taste of acting doing back yard plays when he was six years old then with an appearance on a television program when in his teens. The acting bug really bit Ernie in 1993. He has since appeared in television commercials, industrial films, videos as well as feature films.

Ernie has been the Executive Producer of a talk show aired on a Houston access channel. He has also worked the other side of the camera as Talent Coordinator, Equipment Manager, Writer and Unit Production Manager.

Some of the feature films that Ernie has appeared in are: "Witness for the Execution" with Sean Young, "Pointman" with Jack Scalia, "Tin Cup" with Kevin Costner, "Arlington Road" with Jeff Bridges, "King of the World" with Terrance Howard, "Killing the Badge" with Nicholas Sturghill, and "The Sleep Eaters," among others.
